Chair Yoga is a variation on traditional yoga practice. Instead of taking place on a mat, chair yoga utilizes a chair. I caution people from considering chair yoga "easy" when it actually provides all the same benefits as traditional yoga classes with additional value, accessibility!
Chair yoga classes are designed to increase strength, improve range of motion, and promote mindfulness and reduced stress.
Chair yoga classes are suitable for individuals in wheelchairs, and those with mobility or balance challenges.
